This is how I choose to take the advice Iâm given, or not.
Especially right now, weâre all turning to more than one person or source to look for answers.
My tip when you get those answers is to find the same common thread.
Whether youâre turning to your mentors or doing some research yourself on the internet, itâs important to find that common thread because then you know youâve found your answer - just be sure your sources are reliable...I canât stress that part enough.

Meet @rob.paylor.
Back in 2017, Robert broke his neck in the Collegiate Rugby National Championship and his life was immediately altered. Due to the severity of his injury, he was diagnosed as a quadriplegic and was told he would never walk or move his hands again.
This video was taken a little over 3 years after his injury - talk about strong will and determination!
Thank you for the reminder @rob.paylor that just because youâre told you canât do something, doesnât mean you CANâT. You CAN do anything you set your mind to!

I don't have the "Follow the Money" answer simply because they're not releasing the money.
Many people are suffering right now and there's a lot of uncertainty in the market. If another stimulus check isn't going to be sent out any time soon, then why continue to take money away from us?
Here's my suggestion: furlough the taxes. If you're not going to give people more money, then start thinking, "How can you help people save the little bit of money they have?" We need to start having these conversations...
Remember that we won't always be where we are now and it'll most likely take another year or so to start feeling some sense of "normal" again, but also keep in mind that the old normal doesn't want us back. When we do get back to normal, it'll be totally different from what we knew before.

I was cleaning out a storage facility when I stumbled across this VHS tape. We had just borrowed half a billion dollars to start a strategic series of friendly and hostile acquisitions in the consumer software industry. I got invited onto @cnbc Squawk Box and I got grilled like a BBQ chicken. Have a look at Mark Haines @jimrogerscom David Faber and @joekernen in 1996. To say they were skeptical is an understatement!

Iâve been getting this question a lot...especially at the beginning of everything a lot of my friends in the restaurant industry asked what they should do to pivot, and the ones that chose to remodel their business are the ones who are still serving customers and staying afloat.
I think weâve all seen how the hospitality industry has taken a hit, and how a lot of them adjusted to keep their business alive.
I think weâre going to continue to see a lot of changes in our lives, including the food industry, and itâs the ones who learn to move along beside it that will stay prosperous.

Iâm sure you all are familiar with the home security and smart home company @ring, currently owned by Amazon. Well, this was their Shark Tank debut..
Formerly known as Doorbot, founder Jamie Siminoff came in the Tank in 2013. Back then, this type of system was very new to us and all but one Shark couldnât see how it would play out in the market space. Boy, were we wrong, because Ring is now worth over one billion dollars...đł
Though Jamie did receive an offer from the royalty master himself, Mr. Kevin OâLeary, he turned it down because he felt it wasnât the best offer for his company at the time. This goes to show not only has another invention been ahead of its time and has gone on to prove us wrong, but that you shouldnât always take an offer just because itâs offered to you ... also known as ânot settling for less than you know youâre worthâ
Only you know whatâs best for you and your company. If something doesnât feel right, go with your gut, even if that means youâre in the same predicament as you started in.
Look for other opportunities that better fall in line with your company values and needs at the time, and donât give up because if you believe in your product/service THAT much, someone else is bound to also, especially when thereâs a novelty element about it that has potential to outdo the competition in the space its in.
