Hola from Sevilla and my new Airbnb 🇪🇸♥️ First thing I do after getting to a new place which will be my temporary home & office is... checking the Internet connection 😅 As you can see, the one here is pretty good which means a lot to me 🧑🏻‍💻 What is the first thing you would do? 😅

The dark side of being a 👇🏼⁣ ⁣ TL;DR 👉🏼 Make sure your passport is valid for >6 months 😅⁣ ⁣ A couple of days ago I checked my passport and realized it is expiring in March 21. It didn't make me feel worried till I checked that my passport needs to be valid fot at least 6 more months in order to enter South Africa (where I'm supposed to go in December) 😯 So, I had to change my itinerary and instead of taking a direct flight to my next destination, I had to book one with a layover in Poland 🙄 ⁣ ⁣ After spending the whole night on traveling 🚌🚆🛬 and having an appointment at a passport office early in the morning, I'm sitting here in my apartment, drinking coffee number X today and trying to focus on coding (which is pretty challenging 😴) ⁣ Happy Friday guys, hope you are having a better day 😅🍻⁣ ⁣ ⁣ 📸@digital.wander

Bye bye San Francisco.... whoops, I mean Lisbon 😅🇵🇹 It's been an incredible month (can't believe it's already over) as a digital nomad here in Portugal. Do I recommend it and would come back? Hell yes! 🎉 ⁣ ⁣ The weather is great, the food amazing, landscapes just breathtaking, people very polite, everyone can speak English - those things make this country a perfect digital nomad destination ♥️ ⁣ ⁣ Did I convince you to pack you backpack and laptop and work from here?👩🏻‍💻🎒⁣ ⁣ ⁣ 📸@digital.wander

Python 3.9 is out 🐍🎉⁣ ⁣ Here are the top 3 new features in my opinion:⁣ 1️⃣ Merging and updating dictionaries⁣ 2️⃣ Removing the prefix and suffix of a string⁣ 3️⃣ Type hinting for built-in generic types⁣ ⁣ To all Pythonists: what do you think? Hey Golang, it's been a while! 👩🏻‍💻⁣ ⁣ This week I've been coding mainly in Go and I was extremely happy that I didn't forget the syntax (at least not everything!) 😅 Well, I have to admit that I had to google something about Goroutines but it's pretty normal to forget such things without using them for a while, isn't it? 🤔 ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ 📸@digital.wander
