The dark side of being a πŸ‘‡πŸΌβ£ ⁣ TL;DR πŸ‘‰πŸΌ Make sure your passport is valid for >6 months πŸ˜…β£ ⁣ A couple of days ago I checked my passport and realized it is expiring in March 21. It didn't make me feel worried till I checked that my passport needs to be valid fot at least 6 more months in order to enter South Africa (where I'm supposed to go in December) 😯 So, I had to change my itinerary and instead of taking a direct flight to my next destination, I had to book one with a layover in Poland πŸ™„ ⁣ ⁣ After spending the whole night on traveling πŸšŒπŸš†πŸ›¬ and having an appointment at a passport office early in the morning, I'm sitting here in my apartment, drinking coffee number X today and trying to focus on coding (which is pretty challenging 😴) ⁣ Happy Friday guys, hope you are having a better day πŸ˜…πŸ»β£ ⁣ ⁣ πŸ“Έ@digital.wander

Hey Golang, it's been a while! πŸ‘©πŸ»β€πŸ’»β£ ⁣ This week I've been coding mainly in Go and I was extremely happy that I didn't forget the syntax (at least not everything!) πŸ˜… Well, I have to admit that I had to google something about Goroutines but it's pretty normal to forget such things without using them for a while, isn't it? πŸ€” ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ πŸ“Έ@digital.wander

Python 3.9 is out πŸπŸŽ‰β£ ⁣ Here are the top 3 new features in my opinion:⁣ 1️⃣ Merging and updating dictionaries⁣ 2️⃣ Removing the prefix and suffix of a string⁣ 3️⃣ Type hinting for built-in generic types⁣ ⁣ To all Pythonists: what do you think? Have you been missing those features in your every day coder life? I was and will for sure use the 3 features I listed above πŸ‘©πŸ»β€πŸ’»β£ ⁣ ⁣ πŸ“Έ@digital.wander
