a MUCH needed cocktail tonight. u should know i use @ashlandhardseltzer as a base for ALL THE THINGS. i am in the midst of losing 15-ish lbs so this has been lifesaver bcuz it’s low cal & barely any sugar. tonight i am enjoying a spicy mango/strawberry margarita- so easy, all i did was: • tequila • mango/strawberry @ashlandhardseltzer • muddled strawberries • a few slice of jalapeño + muddle strawberries & jalapeño in a cup. then add ice (i loved crushed ice). pour tequila (like 1 to 2 ounces depending on how buzzed u want to get) over ice. top w @ashlandhardseltzer & garnish w a strawberry + jalapeño slice. MY GOD SO GOOD. CHEERS !! (share ur quarantine cocktail of choice below + save this post for a boozy resource next time u want a flirty drink)

2 weeks ago michael & i lost one of the greatest loves of our life our chihuahua, Pixy. her nickname was “the most gorgeous girl in the world” & she was our world. it’s been very hard. we are devastated. Boone is depressed- he lost his best friend. it’s crazy because we got her when she was 8 weeks old & she lived to 16 yrs old so she’s been through all the ups & downs: college, heartbreaks, death, moves, career changes, marriage, baby. my husband wrote down a list of things we want to remember her for- some i wanted share here: • her long, pink tongue • she’d get in the rosemary bush & smell like fresh baked sourdough • when she would growl @ a horse- seriously a horse walked down the street & she would growl • the sound of her drinking water • her toothless smile (she had 8 teeth pulled) • how she loved clothes because she associated them w hanging out w us • her & her relationship w her godparents • her favorite was to be carried in a papoose • how she thought Boone was annoying but still put up w him • her love of ice cream, Lucky Charms, & cake batter • the fact that she HAD to be attached to our hip @ all times • one time she went to my bartending job & escaped from her leash. she ran straight to the kitchen & the chef’s all screamed “RAT!!” lol • we had an actual language no one understood • ...& the first picture is the best: she would hide behind the curtains, starring at us, thinking we couldn’t see her...even though the curtain was sheer & we could see her deep gaze, piercing us w her brown eyes if you have ever lost a pet, it’s the WORST 😩😪😖 we will miss Pixy every single day :/ rest in peace PBB 2004-2020

ever since finding out my human design (reflector !), i started paying even more attention to my energy in the morning. & this little AM action item makes all the difference. try it- all u do is write down: • podcast|book|music|workout of the day • 3 gratefuls • 3 things u MUST get done • 3 ways u want to feel (one word i.e. ‘zen’) • 3 ppl you’re sending happiness • 7 priorities for to-do in order of importance (google ‘The Skinny Confidential ivy lee method’) leave a 📋🤍 if these microblogs bring u value tutorial breakdown on my stories rn

ZAZA UPDATE: we are in month 8 now which is so fun. Zaza loves green smoothies, licking @sietefoods chips, peaches & guacamole. whenever i sneak in her room & she is awake in her crib, she looks at me in dark, wide-eyed like a ring-tailed lemur- it’s hysterical. her favorite book is ‘the giving tree’ & her favorite movie is ‘lady & the tramp.’ we have to play the song from the movie, “La La Lu” everyday at least 559 times or it’s a whole production of demands. she just learned to wave & say hi which makes us melt like butter in her hand. her papppppppa just bought her a star light projector (which makes u feel like you’re micro-dosing shrooms LMFAO)- Zaza thinks it’s the coolest thing- will post it now on @and.the.skinny.was.like. when we wind down we stare at the “stars” & listen to meditation music and there’s nothing better in the world. i love her pure energy & feisty spirit. if i have a choice to leave the house, i would rather be home because she is just LIGHT 🪐✨💫. watching her w my husband & dogs has been the most magical part of my life. to round it out, her latest is to bounce in a creepy walker, rip peaches out of my hand mid-bite & enjoy baby massage right out of her bath (@kpurenaturals is her favorite baby oil). who else loves/d 8 months ? & @jackieschimmel thx you for her epic @snoopdogg outfit (OH also superstar parents @sivanayla & @prich12 are coming on @tscpodcast today- leave your questions below)

just re-took a hormone & thyroid test & the results were LIFE-CHANGING (actual words from my doctor). never did i think i’d have my hormones & thyroid tested at my age- i assumed it was tailored for women 50+ ? MAN WAS I WRONG ! the small symptoms i had pre-baby totally intensified after i gave birth. fatigue, weight that wouldn’t budge, & irritability (sry babe but not really lol 🔪) were constantly happening. i found a hormone specialist in LA (not a general doctor, i feel the hormone specialist is key), had my blood drawn & found i had low thyroid, low testosterone, & low progesterone. even found i was insulin resistant. anyway the past 3 months have been spent balancing everything & I FEEL SO MUCH BETTER I HAD TO SHARE: like more energy, clarity & i lost 15 pounds w/o changing my diet much. so to women of any age: if you feel like shit, get your thyroid & hormones tested. i wish someone told me sooner- & now i just want to interview sm ppl on this subject to get the word out. SO ! recording podcast content on thyroid, hormones, insulin levels, so lmk ur questions for the experts ⤵️
