The colours seem to go on forever.

The fall foliage just seems to get better and better in Gatineau Park. This is another shot from our helicopter ride over this amazing landscape.

Fall colours at Lake Chuzenji near Nikko, Japan.
β-
As the fall season approaches I am reminded of this incredible trip we took to Nikko, Japan for the fall colours. It was insane!
We took the cable car up to this lookout and man was it worth it.
It was like Mother Nature created the perfect scene.
The way the lake drains over the cliff side to form the Kegon Waterfall is picture perfect.
Where have you seen the best fall colours?
ββ
Early morning light really brings out the colours at Pink Lake in Gatineau.
ββ
Here is some more fall goodness from the Ottawa Valley area. This place gets pretty busy during the fall colours but if you get there early you can have this beauty all to yourself.

ββ
Which road would you follow into the fall colours in Ottawa?
ββ
Fall is on its way and one of the best places to see the fall colours is around Ottawa, Ontario.
ββ
This shot was taken from a helicopter and it really gives you a great sense of these amazing colours in Gatineau Park.

The Black Sand beaches of Iceland never disappoint.
β
Iceland is known for its lush green colours but it is the contrast in landscapes that really fascinated me.

Is Iceland on your bucket list?

Happy World Lion Day!
β
We have been fortunate enough to see these beautiful animals in their natural habitat in 3 different countries.
These are a few shots of those special moments.

The Calm before the Storm in Iceland.

One thing that is guaranteed in Iceland is all different types of weather.
On our drive around the ring road we had sun, rain, wind and snow all in a 7 day period.
It sure is gorgeous though!

Morning light at Meech Lake.
ββ
Located in Gatineau Park, this lake is a perfect place to visit early in the morning.
The light and the mist made for a great mood in this shot.

The Beauty of the Maβin Hot Springs in Jordan.
ββ
This is the first photo in my series of From the Archives.
Over the next few weeks I will be posting photos that never made it to Instagram over the years.
I hope you enjoy!
ββ
This shot was taken during a 2011 trip to Jordan. We visited these hot springs on our way to the Dead Sea and it was by far one the coolest locations for a hot spring I had seen.
Water flowed over this cliff into a pool below where we spent a good amount of time enjoying the healing waters.

I'm Back on IG!
----
You may have noticed that it has been a while since I have posted on Instagram.
There is a good reason for that! WE BOUGHT A HOUSE!
We had been waiting since September for it to be built and it finally was ready for us at the beginning of this month.
We have been spending a lot of time setting up and decorating with pictures like this one of a special moment in Bhutan.
We will be showcasing the house over the next couple of days over on IG Stories, so if you are curious of what our new place looks like make sure to check it out.
----
On another note, we are obviously not traveling at the moment, and that has given me a chance to go through photos that I never really got a chance to showcase over the years.
So, stay tuned for some cool shots fromarount the planet from our time on the road over the past 10 years.
----
I hope everyone is doing well and staying safe.
If there is a destination you want to see on our IG just let us know in the comments.

Today's Photo:
A Moment of Zen in the Himalaya's of Bhutan.
----
After a 2 day hike into the Himalayas we found ourselves at the Royal Highlander festival. As we crested the final climb at about 4000m I saw a horse that seemed to be posing against this stunning background.
After snapping a few shots I moved on and didn't even realize the special moment I had captured until I looked at my camera days later.
That is one thing about Bhutan; special moments are all around you even if you don't realize it.
