In our new concept store @bottegacini , we host the award winning short film Venezia Anno Zero, filmed during the lockdown of Venice. It shows a city suspended in a metaphysical dimension and opens the hearts of the spectators to strong emotions and to reflect on the essence of life.
The Merchant of Venice, by spreading this short film, wants to support the recovery of Venice through a sustainable and environmentally friendly tourism model. Stop to mass tourism which has created incalculable damage to the socio-economic fabric of Venice and the lagoon environment.

A new collaboration of The Merchant of Venice with an important and recognized Venetian reality: the Gondoliers Association. The organization unites the gondoliers of Venice that, navigating canals, have become one of the most representative figures of the history and tradition of the city.
For this reason, given the great connection of The Merchant of Venice with Venice, the perfumery brand has decided to support this emblematic activity of the city.
In response to the Covid-19 health emergency, The Merchant of Venice provided 10 columns with sanitizing gel to be placed on the gondola starting docks.
