Seriously, trying to create, manage + execute launch plans used to make me feel like I was cracking The Da Vinci Code 😅 All those moving parts, all that content (+ let’s be honest, all that stress)😒

3️⃣ CHALLENGE PHASE
People always wanna skip the challenge phase, because I'm NGL, it's a LOT of work - but ohhh so valuable! It gets your audience used to learning from you, gives them quick results, AND sells them on the value of being in your community 👯♀️
4️⃣ OPEN CART
The BIGGEST launch mistake is making this period too long!!You want it to be just long enough to build hype + FOMO…without dragging it out + fatiguing your audience!🥱
5️⃣ CLOSE CART
This should be alllll about capitalising on that FOMO factor. What will your ideal client be giving up if they don't convert this time around? What will they lose by waiting until your next launch? Make sure they know!⚠️
6️⃣ POST HYPE PHASE
Now it's time to check your bank account + POP THA BUBBLY, because you are DONE 🥳 You wanna make sure your offer lives up to the hype you've created, so this is where you focus on SERVING your customers!

…you know, that feeling you get when you find the PERFECT winter coat, immediately fall in love, THEN check the price tag 🤦♀️
These days (pre-lockdown included), I do 99.99% of my shopping online, so I’ve managed to avoid that feeling for a lil while.
But back in pre-ASOS times, I got invited to a party when I was 15 that I was BUZZING about. So of course, I hit the shops to try on the finest dresses my pocket money could buy 🤣
After finding “the one”, the very involved shop assistant told me it was like it was MADE for me, and girl did I believe her 🤣
…then I saw the price.
As I didn’t have the equivalent of 2 years of pocket money on me, I had to make a VERY swift exit and say goodbye to “the dream dress” [RIP] 💔
Fast forward to 2018 when Surge Social was registered as an official company
I found a coach that sounded absolutely dreamy + they stressed just how AFFORDABLE their 1:1 programme was. So I got on a call with them + was caught SO caught off guard by the investment that I went running (and I’m a girl who hasn’t ran properly since high school P.E. 🤣)!
I never went back 🤷♀️
But you DON'T HAVE TO DEAL WITH THIS with your own potential clients!!
Nothing's worse than knowing on a sales call that the other person is taken aback by the cost, so here are 2 ways to make sure your sales calls are smooth sailin' 👇
☝️ Share your prices! Even if you don't want to post an exact figure, make it clear whether they're looking at high-3 figures, 4 figures, or even mid- to high-4 figures per month.
✌️ Focus on upselling to people who have already invested in you! If you've got a £2k programme, those clients won't blink at spending that on 1:1 coaching, whilst a cold lead might.
Have you ever had severe sticker shock syndrome? 😬 And was it in a shopping centre fitting room? 🤦♀️
How to eliminate the risk from your offer 🧨
ESPECIALLY if you're selling high-ticket, as utterly fabulous as you are, it can be hard to get people to see it as a no-brainer!! 🤷♀️
But that's where your epic marketing content comes in handy 💁♀️
So here are a few ways to stop people wondering “should I risk it for a chocolate biscuit?!” when it comes to investing with you 😉:
👉 Share social proof.
Word of mouth is the most useful form of marketing, so if you've got testimonials, share them! Especially during the sales process.
👉 Share results.
Even if you don't have testimonials, you can share the kick-🍑 results you get for yourself + your clients!
👉 Be transparent about your methods.
When someone feels like they're able to peek behind the curtain, it can put them at ease. Be clear about how you like to do your thang.
👉 Set clear expectations.
If you're not going to help someone earn 6 figures in 6 months, PURLEASE don't say you will! Don't undersell yourself, but don't overpromise either. Be clear about the value you add + your prospects will feel more comfortable as a result.
So whether your leads are risk-takers or not, they'll be tooootally at ease buying from you (and bloody buzzing once they do)!

I love running ads to value content outside of launch periods, because it means those people will be through your intro sequence + on your regular value list by the time you launch. They’re now SO much more likely to convert as you’ve taken them from lukewarm to SPICY HOT LEADS 🌶

For my clients who have full-on websites (+ not all of them do!), they get SOME organic search traffic, so we need to convert those people to email subscribers!
To do that, we make sure there are pop-ups, banners + calls to action allllll over the show for freebies to get them on the list. OR, if they're in the middle of a launch, we'll shout about that instead 🙋♀️

What makes you unique? Why should they choose you? Once we identify that, we can lean into it to help you attract YOUR people!

How to write 🔥🔥🔥 value emails
POP QUIZ: what's the most RELIABLE marketing channel for your business?
A) Your email list 💌
B) Your social media audience 🤳🏼
C) Your flock of carrier pigeons with sales messages to deliver 📜
The correct answer is A) YOUR EMAIL LIST!
Your email list is INFINITELY more reliable than social media for one simple reason: YOU OWN IT.
IG could go away at any time. FB ads could become prohibitively expensive. And Pinterest could easily become pay-to-play.
Your email list, though? That 💩 is YOURS.
So it's SUPER important to be sending out WEEKLY emails, and for those emails to be full of 🔥 value!!
Here's how to create the ultimate value email 👇
1️⃣ A kick-🍑 subject line (as short as possible, definitely no more than 9 words) that grabs attention
2️⃣ A hype intro that lets the reader know this email is for them + has them reaching for the popcorn from the get-go 🤩
3️⃣ Pure value, teaching them how to achieve some kind of transformation ✨
4️⃣ Action points, so your reader can experience the transformation you're describing ⚡️
5️⃣ Your call-to-action in a value email should be either to start a conversation or access more free value 🙌
(EX: "Hit REPLY + let me know..." or "Click here for a FREE ebook all about...")
6️⃣ Sassy signoff - I love signature sign offs that assert who you want your audience to remember you as. A fab example of this is how @alexbeadon signs off with “Your business bestie” 👯♀️
7️⃣ PS - if you're selling something at the mo, drop it in the PS! That way it doesn't feel like the whole email has been a sales pitch, but you still get 👀 on your offer

Why? Because it's the only marketing channel YOU truly own! 😬

So you've got 10k IG followers, that's great! Now it's time to get them to your email list 🙃
Use your link-in-bio, your swipe-ups + anything else you can to get people to your freebie content. That way when they sign up, they'll be added to your email list too!
And when people follow you on more than one channel, they're WAY more likely to buy from you when the time comes 🤩
💸 Facebook ads 💸
You guys know how much I LOVE my ads - they're like adding fuel to the 🔥!
I love running ads to value content outside of launch periods, because it means those people will be through your intro sequence + on your regular value list by the time you launch. They’re now SO much more likely to convert as you’ve taken them from lukewarm to SPICY HOT LEADS 🌶

For my clients who have full-on websites (+ not all of them do!), they get SOME organic search traffic, so we need to convert those people to email subscribers!
To do that, we make sure there are pop-ups, banners + calls to action allllll over the show for freebies to get them on the list. OR, if they're in the middle of a launch, we'll shout about that instead 🙋♀️
