OMG - tomorrow marks ten whole months of being married to @boodad6 🎊💕🎊! It's kind of hard to tell where some of those adventures and celebrations I've enjoyed with my @boodad6 really began - but it sure is beautiful when I take a moment to really look at and appreciate the one who's in the center of all my magical moments. The last ten months have been one of CHANGE - we’ve gotten a dog (hi Benson we ❤️ you!), adjusted to quarantine and spending more time together than like ever, health changes, friend changes, priority changes, less travel, more cooking, and so many new adventures! Can’t wait to spend forever with you!! 😘😘❤️

I WOKE UP LIKE THIS ❤️🎊❤️

This time last year was not easy. I had just started a new job when everything kind of came crashing down. Snoop, my almost 17-year-old Golden, got suddenly super weak and I was in denial about his deteriorating health. Michael had the start of his biggest flare up, as his medicine stopped working and thus was the start of months of heartbreak, weakness, anger, and questioning. And in two weeks, it’ll mark when I said goodbye to my sweet Snoop. The truth is, I didn’t really know how to operate without my emotional support. My best friend. My companion. My cuddle buddy. I look bad at this time last year and just sigh. I never thought we’d make it out OK. There were days I would just sit alone and cry. But what I’ve learned is that we made it. We made it out and we’re ok. We’re more than ok. We’re (dare I say it) GOOD. On Snoop’s last day, I was walking with him and then our chandelier made a rainbow on his back. It was then that I knew it was his time to cross the rainbow bridge. And it was his way of saying he was ready and that I’d be ok. I didn’t believe it then, but today I do. I say this because as we enter a new season, I hope we all feel recharged, optimistic, and encouraged. Life isn’t easy. It’s not supposed to be - but let’s all try to be each other’s support rainbows when we can be 🌈🌈🌈 I know I’m going to try to have a much better Fall than I did last year ❤️
