We love the water and our dream is to have a house by the beach with an inifinty pool facing the ocean ๐ We can't get enough of this pool and we're very happy to be able to experience living here for 6 weeks ๐๐ฝ

There are moments when we feel lost, like weโre swimming against the tide with lots of uncertainties and we don't know how our future will unfold. But, itโs amazing how a simple hug, touch, or holding hands can change everything in a matter of seconds. Suddenly we feel safe and weโre grounded back to earth, ready to face all challenges ๐ซ
.
๐ฐ This is how we felt that day we went to the beautiful Sosua Beach. We had lots of challenges the past weeks with our online business and familyโs health. Even, our commute going to this beach, which was supposed to be easy, gave us lots of challenges because the driver tricked us and was asking for more money. Things were not going our way! But we paused, hugged each other and focused how grateful we are for being in this beautiful beach together to enjoy the day and have a day off from laptop work ๐๐ฝ
.
We realized how lucky we are that we are building our dream lifestyle together. As soon as we are together, we will make it work and find solutions as we always did ๐ช๐ฝ

Instagram vs. Reality: Life looks amazing but sh** happens! ๐ฐ

Our camera stopped working! We put it on rice to dry and remove moisture and we hope it works tomorrow ๐ Yes it sucks! We felt shocked, angry, frustrated, nervous, sad, stupid all at the same time. We couldnโt avoid thinking โwe could have done betterโ ๐ญ But, this is life.
.
Sometimes you only see the amazing, dreamy, and fun stuff in Instagram but you donโt see behind the scenes the hard work, frustration, and sad moments like this. Itโs good to dream and find inspiration on Instagram but donโt be scared to get out there and build your dream lifestyle. Bad and sad things like this can happen in life wether youโre just at home or going for your dream lifestyle. LIVE. MAKE MISTAKES. LEARN ๐ธ

TIP: When we got home we remembered that all our camera gear is insured because itโs our investment for our work as content creators. What does traveling mean for you? ๐

For us traveling is more than places to be discovered. Itโs a way to discover ourselves, widen our horizon, and learn a new way to see the world. Itโs a way of life with more freedom where you can combine all your passions ๐
.
๐ Kayaking in Crystal River and being able to see a manatee was such a wonderful experience! We highly recommend it if you're in Florida, USA.

Sometimes we expect our lives to turn into the life of our dreams in a blink of an eye ๐ฉ Then when things become repetitive we tend to feel bored ๐ But, to have lasting results, the key is mastery. Repetitive doesn't have to be boring if you enjoy the process and how you improve and transform ๐ฆ
.
๐๐ฝThese are 3 things we do since 3 years ago and the more we do it, the more our lives improve:
- Daily Journaling: We take 5 to 10 min to think about what are we grateful for, what are we excited to do for the day, and write a daily affirmation.
- Weekly Goals and Retrospective: We take 1 hour once a week to reflect on our week and set new goals.
- Morning work out/yoga: Starting our days doing moving our bodies with a 15 min morning yoga or 15 to 30 min workout activates our body and gives us lots of energy for the day.

๐คฉ This routine changed our lives to the point that we actually created a mobile app (@journalfornomads) to help other people incorporate it and feel the benefits.

๐ Keep it simple. Keep it small. Do it every day. Repeat. Master it until it becomes a part of your life.

Hard decisions definitely pay off โข Las decisiones difiฬciles definitivamente dan sus frutos ๐

๐ฐ Making the decision to leave the USA and come to Dominican Republic was definitely not an easy decision to make during these times. Staying in the USA was definitely a lot easier and more comfortable for us vs. figuring out Covid restrictions, getting a Covid test, flying to a third world country, and basically mapping the unknown one more time. We were nervous and scared at times when we were researching and reading all the news, safety precautions, and travel restrictions. But, our desire to continue learning, to be wherever we want to be, and to continue the traveling lifestyle that we want was stronger than all those fears or doubts ๐ช๐ฝ
.
Today, when we looked back, we cannot believe all the wonderful experiences we had even during these Covid times ๐๐ฝ Remember, our fears are there to prepare us, not to stop us from reaching where we want to go. Where do you want to go? ๐
.

YES! ๐

Years ago, we'd probably say no. It's impossible! It's too good to be true. But, since we started this traveling lifestyle, we met so many people earning a living out of their passions, we discovered multiple ways to save up money on accommodation, such as TrustedHousesitters (and there are many others more) and all of it while exploring this beautiful world.
.
So, yes, it's possible! The path is challenging, you have very few certainties on how things will work out, but... what's more exciting than the possibility of making your dreams come true? ๐ซ
.
