🙋♀️ what do you think of this throw back? Queen Maggie was photographed by the wonderful @youandthedog and we are dreaming of the day we can go back to see her. She did an amazing photoshoot with Maggie and even convinced Mishka to partake in some of the silliness, which if you know Mish, you know she is a very serious lady! I’m hoping to head back to see her before the year is out, because I still haven’t managed to arrange a professional shoot of all three girls. With Millie’s long tongue and Maggie’s tall ear, it’ll take some careful planning to fit all three dogs in the frame! 😂
I hope you’re excited for the weekend and are enjoying sunnier weather than we are in England.

🙋♀️lockdown restrictions, cold weather and darker nights... there’s not much to do on these long winter evenings and I’ve found myself munching through lots of snacks like a bear getting ready for hibernation. I must say that the girls are all very excited by my winter diet and insist on “helping” me. Although they have all started pestering me for dinner earlier and earlier each night.
Today the girls went for an afternoon stroll and when we came back (at 1:30) she went straight to the fridge and sat with the wag guest tail, so excited and trying her hardest to be patient and contain her excitement. Imagine then, the disappointment when I told her she needed to go sit down and wait another 5ish hours until dinner. The poor little soul was not happy! Does anyone else have greedy dogs like Maggie and Millie?

🙋♀️hello my beautiful friends! Although the weather, we are feeling as chipper as can be. Maggie has had her first day back at our local university, walking with the students and making new friends. I know she’s missed them because as soon as we pulled into the car park she started yipping and whining. She ran out to greet her friends and enjoyed a beautiful walk with them. She used to attend because many of the students get stressed out(especially around exam time) and many miss their own family pets and enjoy the walks as a way to get out in the fresh air and enjoy some time with a happy furbaby. Now in 2020, that’s more important than ever. Seeing Maggie so happy makes me beam with joy.
And the best part is that when the students are done I get to collect Maggie and she runs back to me, we have a cuddle and she tells me all about her day. Isn’t she amazing how she runs without fear? I know I couldn’t do it, if someone blindfolded me and asked me to run full speed, I can assure you I’d fall flat in my face!

🙋♀️ I’m normally a very positive person but Monday, the never ending lockdown and being ill all last week has left me with zero motivation or creativity today. Thankfully I have three beautiful dogs to make my Monday evening a cosy and comfy one as we all snuggle up on the sofa.
In an effort to make me laugh I want to question you for your naughty dog stories. You all know how cheeky my girls are, especially with @milliethewunderdog and her recent mushroom eating adventures! As much as we love them and no matter how well trained they are, dogs will be dogs and get into mischief any chance they get. So last Thursday, the girls and I traveled up to Leeds for a great opportunity to be on the @packedlunchc4 the girls of course were super stars as always but when we do these crazy things it reminds me how far they have come in such a short time. Last Thursday also marks two years of knowing this beautiful one eared wonder. She came to me as a blind and abused foster dog but her personality was never of a scared animal. She was proud, gentle and kind from the very first moment I met her. I’m so honoured to be her mom and I hope to spend many more years looking up to her in admiration both metaphorically and literally, as you can see from the second photo.

Just so you are up to date, it’ll be Maggie’s birthday Thursday/Friday. The 17th/18th marks two years that Maggie has been in our lives. Two years since she showed up and began her rule as the one true Queen of England. I’ve already bought her (and her sisters) lots of gifts to celebrate! It’s going to be a very busy week!

You CAN teach an old dog new tricks!-🐕

🙋♀️Hi friends! Two things to share with you today, the first is that Maggie May be an older lady with a grey muzzle but she’s young enough and smart enough to hang out with the cool scared boys on the seafront. Just like Maggie will never be too old to try new things, us humans are never to old either.
The second thing is that Foster Baby Boston (now known as Delilah or Lila for short) has been adopted. She has a new fur sister and a bunch of human siblings. Best of all she is loved and will have plenty of humans to get cuddles from once she’s settled in. While I’ll miss her dearly, I think Millie will be the most heart broken with Boston leaving to her new home. After she has time to settle in her new home and with her new family, I will of course love to share some updates with you. I know so many come to love our foster babies just as much as we do and I know you get just as excited as us to see them living in their happily ever after!

🙋♀️ Hi guys! Maggie has her vet check tomorrow about her little schnozz! I know she’ll be given the all clear and hopefully some yummy biscuits. Once she has the all clear, the girls and I can plan a mini UK holiday! Hoping to have a mini break and when we book our holiday it’ll just be the three girls and I..... “what about foster Boston” I hear you ask, well that lucky girl has finally found her forever home! Her new name is Delilah or Lila for short. (Suits her much better then Boston!) She’ll be leaving the wonky dog house next week and while we will miss her I know she will be loved dearly AND she has a new furbaby sister to keep her entertained.

🙋♀️ What do you think of our remake of The Godfather? I personally got halfway through the film before deciding it definitely wasn’t my cup of tea but I know Maggie is glad so many of you suggested it. She loved eating the horse head (and then the rest of it!) What suggestions for you have for next week? We need some new film ideas for leave your suggestions for us in the comments!
