Videos include tutorials on how to make Ê»AÌINA Close to the Source Snacks from the Ê»AÌINA Nutrition Education Curriculum like Poi Smoothies and Brainy Guacamole. They also showcase garden skills inspired by Ê»AÌINA How-To Sheets such as Planting Seeds and Seed Saving, as well as concepts from the Ê»AÌINA Garden-Based Learning Curriculum that include data collection, biodiversity, and more.

Applications for the Hawaiâi Youth Sustainability Challenge (HYSC) are now open for the 2020-2021 school year! A program of @kupuhawaii and KoÌkua HawaiÊ»i Foundation, the HYSC is an initiative to empower HawaiÊ»i youth to create solutions to conservation and sustainability challenges in their schools and communities.The solutions to the challenges must be student-driven. For the 2020-2021 school year all projects must be able to be completed remotely (off campus).  Selected students must be in grades 9-12 and will receive funding, mentorship, and training to support their innovative and grassroots environmental initiatives.
