Disneyland has unveiled a new mural dedicated to the late Chadwick Boseman. Located at its Downtown Disney shopping district in Anaheim, California, the mural was painted by artist @nikkolas_smith and sees Chadwick Boseman giving a child wearing a hospital gown and Black Panther mask the Wakanda salute. The piece serves as a nod to his time spent with terminally ill children when filming his Marvel Comics film, which at the time, no one knew he himself was also battling colon cancer.

@stikstudio just installed his first-ever public sculpture in London’s Hoxton Square. Titled Holding Hands, the four-meter-tall work was originally conceptualized four years ago when the Hackney Council commissioned the artist to design the official Hackney banner for the London Pride Parade featuring two non-gender specific subjects.⠀

New York-based artist @JoshSperling recently teamed up with Case Studyo on a light sculpture edition called ‘DONUT.’ The collaboration features a series of thermoformed light pieces arriving in three color ways: pink, yellow and orange editions. Pace Gallery is currently displaying the late Jean Dubuffet’s ‘Le cirque’ installation inside their New York City outpost. The sprawling three-dimensional piece stands 13 feet high and is considered to be one of the final works from Dubuffet’s iconic ‘Hourcycle’ series of environmental sculptures which the artist first spearheaded in 1962 up until 1974.⠀

Artists have penned an open letter to the Whitney Museum of American Art demanding that the institution review its ethical guidelines and practices. The letter arrives after the museum decided to cancel its “Collective Actions” exhibition last month that was suppose to feature acquired works, originally intended to support social justice organizations, by Black artists without their permission or compensation.⠀

“The ways in which you acquired our work and planned to show it, without conversation with or consent from many of the included artists, demonstrates an undervaluing of our labor and denial of our agency [and] calls into question how you have increased the diversity of your collection,” the letter stated.⠀

This time overhauling a 1986 930 Turbo donor car, the exterior has been “heavily influenced by the 1980 935 K3 sponsored by Apple Computers” and has been hand painted by @deathspray with black racing car decals portraying Arsham Studio and @dior insignias. The Fuchs-shaped rims, produced by @mattcrooke of @fifteen52, contains a crosshatched Arsham Studio monogram that pays homage to the iconic magnesium alloy rims of the 1974 RSR. While the interior has been fitted with two tones of Objects For Living’s heavyweight stonewashed canvas and premium Italian leather specs by Porsche.
