This was our first visit to the magnificent Kepa Kurl/Esperance 🌊
In Aboriginal language Kepa is water and Kurl is boomerang, and means ‘where the water lies like a boomerang’ 🌊
I spent hours mesmerized by the waves, noticing their unique and beautiful patterns as they rolled into shore 🌊
This is Blue Haven beach, a calm and peaceful spot, ideal for stand up paddle boarding and enjoying spectacular crystal clear ocean views 💦
Esperance is about a 7.5 hour drive south east of Perth and is absolutely breathtaking. We’re convinced we’ve seen the clearest waters than anywhere else in the world 🌎 the majestic coastline will leave you in complete awe 🙌🏼 the unique landscape even documents the patterns of climate change since the ice age!
Have you visited this incredible part of WA? What local gems in your part of the world have you discovered lately?

While it isn’t as easy to hop on a plane for an overseas holiday at the moment, one place I have been dreaming of returning to is @Visit_Singapore ✨
On our last visit, we only had 2 days and it left me wanting to explore so much more!
Known as the ‘Lion City’, Singapore is filled with contrasts of old and new, with its diverse multicultural heritage sitting side by side with modern architecture and attractions. To me, it was one of the most beautiful cities I’ve seen, a place of colour, light, imagination and vibrant energy. The city was bubbling with life and the vibe was so uplifting, we couldn’t wipe the smiles off our faces 🙏🏼
It’s such an easy flight from Perth and the same time zone! How amazing is that? It makes travelling to Singapore so easy. Next time, we’ll definitely be spending a lot more time here in this beautiful city 🌃
Let me know if you’ve been to Singapore and what your favourite spot was? And if you haven’t, I highly recommend adding it to your must-visit list!

Always treasure, protect and respect the earth’s wild places 🙏🏼💙🌎🌊
There are so many incredible documentaries out right now though I’d highly recommend to put @davidattenborough ‘A Life on Our Planet’ at the top of your list. It’s available on Netflix now. It’s deeply moving, deeply sobering, deeply inspiring and absolutely necessary watching 🌎
Our beautiful planet’s resources are finite and we have reached a point where we must choose a new path aligned and in partnership with nature. Our future, our children’s future, our grandchildren’s future absolutely depend on it. I envision a world where we can begin to regain those wild places that have been lost, with flourishing biodiversity and renewable energies (that thankfully don’t run out), plentiful food for everyone, respect for our planet, our incredible animals that we need for the health of our planet, and all beings 🙏🏼
This spot is the majestic Castle rock 🐋 just under 3 hours south from Perth and a 20 minute drive from the incredible @smiths_beach_resort 💦 {My full blog post of our Smiths stay is now live via link in bio}

Even during the restrictions, the pain and chaos of our world, I’m creating my own moments of peace and freedom 💫
Freedom to choose how I feel, where to focus my energy, and where to travel next even when it’s within our own backyard. I’m focusing on my freedom to create without expectation or judgement, my freedom and courage to express myself with authenticity and vulnerability. The freedom to feel all of my uncomfortable emotions and even make friends with them.
So in this current climate of uncertainty I’m choosing to go deeper into my heart, with more compassion and love for all beings and our beautiful earth. I’m following a path of gratitude for all that I have, for this present moment, always acknowledging and utilizing my privilege to help others.
I’m releasing the need to work out the future. I’m trusting. I’m riding this beautiful wave of life with grace and flow. I’m slowing down whenever I can to listen to my children share their wisdom and wishes for this world they are growing into. I’m taking long walks amongst the wildflowers and as always watching beautiful sunsets. It may sound simple though these things fill me with so much peace and joy. Every time I step outside my home I look for magic, for rainbows, for interesting cloud formations, for smiles on people’s faces, sounds of laughter, acts of kindness, connection.
For many years now I have been retraining my brain and focus like a muscle, to focus on gratitude, on love, and on all the beauty and magic. And while I educate myself and keep my awareness up on current events, I don’t spend all my energy focused here. I know when its time to take action, and when it’s time to go within. I listen to my intuition and self nourish, focus on gratitude, and the joy of the moment, of being alive.
I hope that you’re all taking time for you. To be present, to breathe deeply, inhale love into your heart and exhale gratitude for your life. Be kind to yourself. Give yourself hugs. Show yourself compassion. Focus on what you love and practice that focus. I’m always here. Sending you love 💓

Feeling wild and free to create, to express, to be authentically me 🤍
I do love a powerful stormy sunset sesh 🌬Especially here at @smiths_beach_resort 🌊
I love the energy, both recharging me and releasing all that needs to go. I emerge with clarity, content and deeply connected. I’m always thankful for making the effort to get down to the beach for these moments no matter how stormy it may be. You never know what new sunset painting awaits and I always leave feeling 100 percent better.
This is one way I refuel to live my best life. My most enjoyable, imaginative moments are when I’m creating from a place of energy and self love. Sunsets always help realign me to create my life from a full and happy heart.
What helps fill your love cup?

I love getting lost in time, in places that make my heart grow 🌊
Every time I walk along the Cape to Cape trail from @smiths_beach_resort I never know what wonders I will discover along the way. We saw the cutest echidna, a bob tail lizard, vibrant wildflowers and we were greeted with the most breathtaking turquoise views 💦
There is something so peaceful and therapeutic about walking. Releasing your worries into the earth one step at a time. Forgetting the time, and even the destination, being totally present in the moment. It’s one of so many aspects that makes @smiths_beach_resort so special to us 🙏🏼
Deeply grateful to be here enjoying mother nature’s beauty with my family 💙
Please remember to tread kindly and gently on the earth 🌏 And show respect for our planet as we do for ourselves 🙏🏼

I know so many people are in need of retreat time right now and my wish is that I could bring you all here with me 🙏🏼
I’m so grateful for the opportunity to fill my love cup at our favorite home away from home @smiths_beach_resort 💦
After a weekend of retreat with @bareandwilde my heart is overflowing with love. This time to slow down, reflect and connect has reminded me once again that I am enough. And when I have the courage to make friends with my uncomfortable emotions, I’m able to cultivate deeper connections and joyful experiences. Being present and aware of my inner judgements, creating my life from a place of gratitude and self love, while accepting and allowing all aspects of who I am, has brought me so much calm during such turbulent times.
It was so wonderful to connect with so many kindred soul sisters during the retreat and enjoy this beautiful picnic setup by @namastaytipi for our creative fireside conversations. There is something so special, empowering and courageous about women sharing stories together in a safe nourishing space. We give each other permission to open up and share, to be heard and witnessed, accepted, loved, and supported without judgement. It was a transformative experience for sure and I’m grateful for all the inspirational women who joined me.
Deepest gratitude to @valeriegamer_ and @jessica_lowe_coaching for creating delicious plant based soul food for us all to enjoy. As a Naturopath, food is such an important healing aspect of my life. Everything these talented women created was absolutely incredible. I’m so inspired to try some new recipes and techniques 🙏🏼🌿💚

I’m celebrating all the precious moments that move my heart deeper into love 🤍
Here is a little bit about me and my family :
✨ I grew up in Victoria, Australia, both my parents are Finnish, and I spoke Finnish and English at home as a child. Every time I visit the forest in Finland it feels like home and my language starts to return to me
✨ I learnt classical guitar growing up first from my father. All these years later the tradition continues. My children play piano and cello, we all read music, which makes it easy for us to play songs together. It’s a wonderful reminder of how much I loved playing music with my Dad
✨ I moved out of home at the early age of 16, finished high school, and went on to study Naturopathy after traveling in between
✨ I had a very successful career as a Naturopath for 15 years prior to the emergence of my blog. I specialized in the area of nutrigenomics, women’s health, and neuro-immune disorders
✨ When my children were little I facilitated a women’s healing circle. I’d play my guitar and singing bowls, along with guided meditation, creating a beautiful safe space for healing
✨ We still don’t own a TV. We spend our time playing instruments, listening to music (we love old records), dancing, singing, bike riding, rock climbing, sunset walking, surfing, snorkeling, cooking, and when we’re in the mood for a movie we Netflix together
✨ My whole family is plant based for the animals, for the planet, and for our health. We are feeling healthier and happier than ever and my joy for cooking has elevated to another level entirely
I’d love to hear as many things as you like about you, so I can get to know you a little more too 🥰
Sending waves of love to you all ❤️
