Flow Festival will not take place in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic. The safety of all festival visitors, artists, staff, event workers and suppliers is our priority – and must be guaranteed in all circumstances. We have been monitoring the Covid-19 situation and experts’ predictions very closely hoping that the situation would normalise. Unfortunately, it has become clear that producing large events like Flow Festival, taking place just in a few months, is not safe. Flow Festival has been organised in Helsinki since 2004, and for many, it has become a highlight of the summer as well an important chance to gather up with friends. Even in times as strange as these, the sense of community and meaningful culture do not lose their importance, and we do look forward to seeing music, food and art lovers at Flow Festival again next year. We will now focus our efforts on planning for the next year’s edition and hope to be able to share exciting line-up news with you as soon as possible. Flow Festival will be held again on August 13–15, 2021 in Helsinki. Purchased tickets for Flow Festival 2020 will be automatically valid for the 2021 edition. We hope that as many people as possible will support the festival in this exceptional situation and save their tickets for the next year. You'll have the opportunity to update your one-day or two-day ticket from one festival day to another later when the daily program for 2021 is announced. However, ticket holders will have a choice of a refund too. Ticket sellers will email more detailed instructions to ticket buyers in a few days, and information will be updated on the Flow Festival website in the coming days as well. We are extremely grateful to all our friends over the years. In addition to the festival organisation and audience, the cancellation will affect several subcontractors, partners, communities as well as artists, all of whom are committed to the festival. The situation causes concern for everyone, but we look to the future with hope. Be well and take care of yourself and your loved ones, and let us meet again in 2021! The Strokes launched to fame in 2001 with their debut album Is this it, which British magazine NME commended the best album of the decade and the fourth-best album of all time. 🙌🎸⚡️ The band’s soundscape updated 60s garage rock to the 21st century and heavily influenced the soundtrack of the early decade. Since then they’ve released five outstanding studio albums, the most famous songs being for instance Last Night and Reptilia. The Strokes have not been sighted in Europe many times and now finally as one of the most requested Flow performers, they will be performing in Finland.

After first emerging from the New Jersey-based 070 Crew, 070 Shake gained the public's attention after being featured on Kanye West’s 2018 album ye. 💥🎤🏔 070 Shake aka Danielle Balbuena has gained a horde of praises with her debut album Modus Vivendi, dripping sentimental and true hip hop. The album’s seasoned production combines both the simplicity of bleakness and retro futuristic synthesizers. The singer-rapper is also known for touring with the band The 1975 and has also collaborated with Pusha T, Nas and DJ Khaled.

Jesse Markin has quickly risen to the brink of international success after the release of his debut album Folk in May 2019. 🎤🎶 Operating at the crossroads of electro, hip-hop and indie, the artist’s delivery is exquisite to hear both recorded and live. Before his solo debut, the artist has gained hype from recognized British medias such as Complex and Clash, made a name for himself as the frontman of the hip-hop-group The Megaphone State.

Maustetytöt is a Finnish pop duo consisting of two sisters. The band’s sound is based on melodic and inventive pop songs that get stuck in your head. 👂🐛 Their stories are about work and unemployment, concurrent deficiency and excessity, the growth of others and oneself, and also picking berries. They’re the scribbles on the back of a social security application when lacking the night’s sleep and any other kind of sleep, while holding a bottle of cough medicine. The Maustetytöt sound is located in the midst of Finnish language evergreen hits and schlager as well as more current classic Finnish rock. Maustetytöt is these countryside sisters’ pop band for the people, smeared with punk attitude.
