Hello everyone！I’ve been a little quiet this month as I’m quite occupied with various matters. Here’s some timelapse video of me Sketching with references from Pinterest. Inktober starts next week and I’m planning to take the opportunity to create new comics. I’ve been coming up with a zine every year since 2018 so I really look forward to making one this year. I’m been spending a lot of time looking inward lately. I often ask myself what defines my work, what am I trying to convey through my work, or what story am I trying to tell. I guess I’ll start by telling mine.

I’m Kah Yee from Malaysia! I’m in my mid 30s 🥳, I use to think that photography will be my life, until I found love in illustration few years ago. Other than drawing, I cook a lot and eat a lot. 🤪 I love coffee, cakes and dessert! I’m socially awkward, I’m that friend who will read your msg and not reply you cause I’m shy 🤣. That also explain why sometime I didn’treply to your dm 😭but I’m truly grateful for everyone who write really warm and encouraging msg to me. That’s all about me, tell me a little about yourself too!

Hello everyone, I made a patreon page! (Link in bio) ☺️ My freelance work have come to a halt due to the pandemic so I’ve decided to take this opportunity to pursue my dream of becoming a full time artist. I figure that having a patreon page will be a good way to start.

Ok, I promise I will work on a different color palette for my next artwork. 🤣 It has been gloomy and raining almost everyday here so I had a hard time filming the process video for this one. Will work on the video next and have some update on my YouTube channel soon. Till then, take care!

🙋🏻♀️ Hi everyone! I know it has been a while since I posted new art. My previous plan is to post one full colored one page comic + a process video weekly & I’ve been doing that for April + May. As much as I enjoy painting + making videos of those little comic, I also find it rather time consuming to do so. ( partly also due to my lack of skill and it takes me forever to do just one page 😅). There are other project that I really wanted to do this year ( a full length comic to be exact ) and I’ve decided to focus my time on that for the rest of the year. So yeah, from now on I’ll be posting more progress sketch & occasionally some full color artwork ( and video too! ). 🙂 I hope you enjoy what I’ve created and I’ll talk more of my project and future plans in other post.
