Sometimes you’ve got to just let sadness be. Don’t fight it, don’t hide it. Just let it take over and embrace it. Because even when we feel like everything is falling apart and we just want to feel happy, sometimes sadness is needed to realize where we stand, to reset ourselves before we move on. Don’t forget that sadness is needed so we know what it’s like to be happy ❤️

Please read full story! Dear friends, it’s time for a new challenge! The last one I did was so much fun and everyone created such amazing artworks - I just have to do another one! BUT this one will be different! You’ll have a chance to be featured in my stories but also in my upcoming book 😃 This is what you need to do to join: Create your OWN version of a sad girl or woman in your own style. Please do not copy any of my works because I want to see your art! *Copies won’t be considered for placement in my book. • Any medium is allowed! • TAG your artwork with • Deadline is October 31st! The two things your artwork MUST convey: 1. A woman/girl (portrait or full body) 2. Sadness Since I had so many entries last time it’s impossible to share everyone’s work. Instead I’ll be sharing my favorites in my stories. The final result! Though I love her, she could have been so much better. Ahhh the critical eye of an artist 😉. But for a first big canvas piece I’m pretty happy! Hope you guys love it ❤️. Stay tuned for a very exciting challenge coming up! 🥳

Can’t stop painting fall scenes 😁. Talking about painting; we painted our living room today! Something that needed to happen ever since we moved into our house almost a year ago haha. A nice dark mint green ish color. Goes with the hundreds of plants we have 🤪. Anyway, it felt good to be doing something completely different for once.. because sometimes I just get bored 😬
