Great days shooting. That is, shooting the pilot episode of in association with @therake
Proud to be the first victim i mean guest to be interviewed by the always wonderful and always far too well dressed @tfchamberlin. Tom ask me to chauffeur him in an appropriate vehicle for a days shooting at the Royal Berkshire Shooting School hosted by @jamespurdeyandsons. So of course i brought him the 600bhp fastest saloon car in the world the @jaguar Project 8.
Tom thought it appropriate not to wear a tie, i thought it appropriate to make crude jokes, we lost about 15mins of film to uncontrollable chuckling and laughter.
However, we did end up talking cars, life before and after Covid-19, personal interests and outlooks. Hope everyone enjoys it. 📸 @kimlangstudio
Was a pleasure to show @andy.jaye & the @drivenchat team my @jaguar XK120 and to introduce them to the team who renovated it @jaguar.classic. Interview and podcast will be available online and @talkradiouk very soon. Thank you to @amyshorephotography as always the wonderful photo.

"South by Southwest". @davidyarrow & I have talked about collaborating on something for a while. However we are rarely ever in the same place at same time, until the last few months of course. I will let David explain all in his words below..... But a real honour to work with him and even in very restricted conditions still be able to creative imagery like this.
After the success of our recreation of The Birds', our attention moved immediately to a Hitchcock movie that many critics regard as iconic - 'North by Northwest. The rollercoaster tale of mistaken identity, with an assured Cary Grant as the lead, is still a cinematic pleasure. I have always been drawn to the single frame of Grant being chased by the crop duster plane. It grabs the attention and holds it as well as any still from any movie.
My plan was unapologetically to look to replicate the shot. I had not seen this attempted elsewhere and that fuelled my desire. Stepping into the shoes of Cary Grant is an onerous responsibility and we needed the very best, so I called on David Gandy - one of the most celebrated male models of our time. I knew that David would not only relish the opportunity, but also give me exactly the look the image needed.
Replicating the crop duster plane was harder, because of flying regulations in the UK and the rules of basic personal safety. We explored a range of possibilities and rightly involved David in the process, after all, he was going to be far more at risk than me. The wind was a key factor and the shoot was postponed twice as it was simply too strong - as is often the case on the Devon coast.
The final shot, taken on the cliffs above the English
Channel, could never tell a behind the scenes story - so we have made a short film, which we will be releasing shortly, showing the full shoot. There are so many people to thank for making this happen, especially Nick Johnston, who allowed us to film on his But the biggest credit goes to David - who really does give Cary Grant a run for his money.

76 years ago my Grandfather in the Royal Marines along with 156,000 troops of all race, nationality, and religion came together to land on the Normandy coast line, with one objective, to liberate Europe from Nazi Germany. Codenamed Operation Neptune but better known as D-Day.
4,400 troops lost their lives including my Grandfather's Brother. 9000 were wounded or missing.
Today we still enjoy the freedoms that so many made the ultimate sacrifice for. We will forever be indebted and you will never be forgotten. " We make a living by what we get. We make a life by what we give.” —Sir Winston Churchill

"To those that gave so much, we thank you" One of the greatest honours of my life was meeting squadron Leader Spitfire Ace Allen Scott. Having the privilege to sit down with him for hours to hear the heroic stories from the Battle of Britain and defence of Malta will stay with me forever. On the 75th anniversary of VE day and the celebration of the end of WWII, we owe so much to all the hero's that protected this country and sacrificed so much.
The Linen Field Jacket from @privatewhitevc is my favourite jacket. Private white VC and I have collaborated in a Limited Edition navy colourway version, restricted to only 50 units.
In response to the ongoing battle against COVID-19, 35% of the online proceeds will be donated directly to the NHS in the form of Manchester-made gowns and Type IIR masks, made at the @privatewhitevc Manchester factory.
