Thailand's Koh Pha Ngan island used to attract thousands of travellers to its full moon parties. Since coronavirus-related travel restrictions came into force around the world the beaches have fallen silent. Mark Panya Wienands runs a resort on the island and says "there is no doubt I benefit from the full moon party". Mark, who grew up in Thailand, says the parties became "overblown" and "had to change". He hopes the pandemic will put things "into perspective" for the island. Officials in the disputed region report clashes in Hadrut, despite a Russian-brokered truce agreed on Saturday. The deal halted fighting to allow an exchange of prisoners and the recovery of dead bodies. The enclave is internationally recognised as part of Azerbaijan but is controlled by ethnic Armenians. Reports say nearly 500 people, including more than 60 civilians, have been killed in renewed fighting which escalated last month. Armenia and Azerbaijan fought a six-year war over Nagorno-Karabakh, which ended in 1994 with a ceasefire but no peace treaty. The Belfast dad says he's been left "flabbergasted" by the positive worldwide reaction to the family photos he posted on Twitter, as part of the "How it Started. How it's going" trend. All the pics were taken in the same spot outside their home
at various stages of Niamh's academic life. The post has been liked almost a million times. The photos were taken by her mum Brenda ā the first shows Niamh on her first day at primary school, the next was taken on her final day at school and the third picture is from the summer of 2018, when she graduated from university. Rugby League star Rob Burrow was diagnosed with motor neurone disease in December 2019. @bbcbreakfast has followed Rob and his family since then as theyāve learnt to deal with the diagnosis, coped with lockdown and, along with teammates, taken on huge challenges to raise money to help find a cure. His wife Lindsey says Rob's strength of character "just keeps me going". She says her husband wants to spend the time they have as a family with happy memories, rather than worrying about what is to come ā "making the best of what we've got for as long as we can do".

Nigeria has dissolved the controversial force at the centre of protests against police brutality ā the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (Sars). Protests against the squad were reignited by a video of a man allegedly being killed by police. Earlier this year, AmnestyInternational said it documented at least 82 cases of torture, ill treatment and extra-judicial execution between January 2017 and May this year.
Demonstrations have intensified despite a crackdown andĀ has been trending globally.
