Having goals to have a fulfilling career while also staying focused on my main goal in life which is to be a good mom can be a little overwhelming sometimes. Most of the times it all flows and happens naturally and other times I feel like I can’t get the balance that is right for me. Little things like Rosie leaving me a note and telling me “it’s because you’ve been working so hard” keep me going. I love the fast paced feeling of an adventurous life but also love the feeling of a slow paced, simple life. I try to plan for a mix of both each week. But this week happens to feel extra busy and as I’m looking at my calendar for the week ahead I’m already nervous that I’ll fall short in some way. Not sure if you’ve read the book untamed by Glennon Doyle, but she said when she is feeling really good she writes a little letter or sentence to the stressed out version of herself. For me when I’m stressed I start to doubt everything so I have a “note” from the put together me that says “you love your job, you love your family, and you’re good at loving both.” Because sometimes I forget that I don’t need to feel guilty or overwhelmed for loving both. This caption is all over the place but end rant. ✌🏻

David took this picture last night! He loves taking star pictures and I love looking at them so it’s a perfect combo🌟🌟 Mars is sooo bright right now - it’s actually the brightest and biggest it’s been in almost 20 years and won’t be this big and bright again for another 30! You can see it in this pic. On the 13th will actually be the best day to look at it because of the position of the sun so we are gonna take a telescope out to see it that night 🌞⭐️🌝

Spent the night at Lost Dutchman 💓 we stayed up late and watched the stars and we saw one of those insane shooting stars that has the trail of dust and looks extra special 💫 I am just obsessed with our camper I want to take it everywhere!

Are you sick of my fall throwbacks yet?! 😆 OG followers will remember these gems!!! Fall 2015.. this was our special little spot in Central Park that we walked almost every day sometimes twice a day. Attie was always smiling, laughing and running. It was always (semi) exhausting to have to take Chauncey to the park twice a day but I always loved it because it got us out of the apartment and forced us to do walks as a fam that always ended up being so fun and special. (Except when it was freezing or that time that Chauncey legit got into homeless person poop at the park 😩 sorry for the deets but and that’s burned into my memories 😂)

Fall 2018 in Stowe, Vermont! I was about 20 something weeks pregnant with frank in these! Stowe is such a special place for us. We hoped to go back every year, didn’t work out this year but we will be back next for sure 🤗 also can you tell that coordinating outfits is an actual passion of mine? 🙈 I love packing for trips sooo much
