We are happy to present this project of an edition series of fine art ceramics featuring works by five of Mexico’s most important modern and contemporary architects.
Alberto Kalach
Alberto Kalach was born in Mexico City in 1960, studied architecture at the Universi- dad Iberoamericana and completed graduate studies later at Cornell University. In 1981 he founded the firm “Taller de Arquitectura X” with Daniel Álvarez, with whom he worked until 2002. In 2002 his interests also turned to the urban planning issues of his home town, and he founded the community “México: fu- ture city.” His work in ceramic for this series is also a city, comprised of five “towers” in seven pieces that can be arranged by the viewer into endless combinations.

We are happy to share this project of an edition series of fine art ceramics featuring works by five of Mexico’s most important modern and contemporary architects.
The first is by Gabriela Carrillo and Mauricio Rocha.
TALLER DE ARQUITECTURA was established in 1991 in Mexico City by Mauricio Rocha; in 2012 he joined with Gabriela Carrillo and established TALLER Mauricio Rocha + Gabriela Carrillo. Together they work to develop contemporary architecture sensitive to context and environment, combining local materials with state-of-the-art technology.
The ceramic relief panel they created for this project reflects this focus on material and monastic repetetive decoration

Nos estamos acordando de Palle Seiersen Frost no solo fue un gran arquitecto también el diseñador mas elegante y versátil que hemos conocido.
Somos felices de haber compartido su energía creativa y emoción por la vida.
Este biombo lo hizo como comisión para ADN en 2017 para presentarse en @collectivedf con madera, tela y tinta.
