Hope life’s been good to you! 2020’s crazy right. Update from NZ - and yeah, super lucky to be here! Turned 30 and Individual strands of hair have officially decided on grey 👨🏼‍🦳 We still don’t have a “home” as such - been living out of the same holiday home/Airbnb that we booked for the month of our wedding - it’s been like 8 months, and we LOVE it, so it’s starting to feel like home! 🧑‍💻 Been working my tail off! - Have ventured into e-com a whole lot more, using Facebook ads to sell cleaning products 🧽 w my lil bro (random I know!). Also working with people on brand and marketing for their business. Saving 💰 - pay yourself first. saving 10% to invest is a good idea, after 10 years will add up! (📖 richest man in Babylon if you don’t know) Thinking of purchasing rental property in NZ - We have invested in startups. Have shares in companies/funds. And some crypto in case it skyrockets lol. - Sooo... I figure if we could get some solid gold/silver and property, then we’ll have all areas covered? seems logical, haha Travel - @intrepidintrovert and I are safe and sound hunkered down in NZ and haven’t planned anything international until things settle and more boarders open up again. - could be a while! 🤷‍♂️ JetSki Fishing my current addiction!! Bought a Ski a couple years back and rigged it up for fishing - been eating fresh fish almost every week. Also got seedlings 🌱 that have sprouted so 🤞 might soon have grown my own salad to go with it! Health - Still scrawny a/f but been smashing the gym 5x a week 🦾 - Y’all got workout routines I’m down to hear! - got 1 ab so far 👍 Leaning how to write better copy for sales pitches and ads. very useful! Maybe I shouldn’t have dropped out of high school 🙈 Also learned not to drink more than 3 coffees a day... 2 is perfect. lol After so many years of changing situations - finally feeling a bit more grounded! Funny what a forced lockdown can do 😆 ✌️

30 today! 🥳 - It’s a milestone. Goodbye 20’s! The last 10 years has been most insane ride in so many ways. In saying that, I’m damn stoked to hit 30 with all my limbs, A beautiful wife, Great friends, And a loving family 🥰 Bring on the older years and grey hairs (I have a few already), ...and wise decisions (maybe)? I wonder what life in the 30’s will have in store 🤔

It's been the longest we've stayed in any one country in over 6 YEARS.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Seems crazy, but we've been in NZ for over 6 months! We arrived amid summer, and it's dead winter right now.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Flights canned and forced to stay ...And months later it still seems advisable not to travel abroad in a hurry ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The 'me' 6-months ago would have cringed at this idea!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I felt the need to be on the move... Not to run away from anything, to embrace the joy of LIFE and ADVENTURE. I craved new experiences.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ However, being "stuck" has been a blessing in disguise.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ - I can drive 15 minutes down the road to catch up with family when it could take a 15-hour flight. 🛩⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ - I do Tuesday coffee with my mum at the local cafe. ☕️⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ - I've had a lot of quality time out with friends I would usually see in passing. 🍻⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ - I've been working out 4-5 times a week and feeling fitter than ever.💪⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ - I've partnered in one business and starting another with my brother. 👨‍💻 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ - We're saving & setting up some great investments for the future. 📈⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ - I've managed to go surfing or fishing or snowboarding at least 3x a week on average... 🏄‍♂️ More than I would while travelling.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I'm loving life more than ever!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The grass always seems greener on the other side. But there's joy in the simple things, and often everything you could ask for right in front of you.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Random thoughts after a fun, 'normal' weekend as I wait for Ozark to load on Netflix, haha.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

It’s officially winter down here in New Zealand and the ❄️ is falling!!! I forgot how fun snowboarding is. Have only been a handful of times in my life so wasn’t sure how it’d go lol. Like surfing, it’s one of those sports that is super difficult to begin with and can get very frustrating/painful 😆 ...but once you can get up and riding and turn without falling, it’s insanely fun and addictive! Good friend said “just said think poo’s and wee’s and you’ll be fine!” - I think he meant ‘heels and toes’ - either way, I got it. 8 runs 🏂 36 bails 😅 and ZERO broken bones 🦴- was a successful day out! Surfing has taught me a lot about life. As cheesy as it sounds it heals the soul. As in life, when you surf, you spend most of your time working towards a goal.... You constantly search for good waves. You’ll walk over rocks, immerse yourself in freezing cold water and paddle your heart out just just to get in position. You’re outta breath and your arms feel like jelly. You might have to pull the urchin spikes out of your foot later. — Life isn’t easy. To learn, do, or achieve anything noteworthy. You’ll likely experience many difficulties along the way. A wave comes. You’re forced into the present moment. You know you must paddle 110% or you risk getting a face full of reef. There’s no turning back now. — You have to commit to your actions. You’re up! 🏄‍♂️ ...it feels like you’re walking on water. Gliding along the smooth wave passing 🐟 🐠 right below the surface. There’s no place you would rather be. — Don’t let thoughts about the past or future ruin your day. Enjoy the now. That’s all there ever is. Stay focused, look ahead. The wave can change at any moment. But you’re ready. You do a turn, get barrelled and finish the wave absolutely stoked!!! — Always be two steps ahead. Life changes. Accept it and adapt. If you fall, get back up. You see a person on the next one. They may be better than you. But you’re so stoked that all you can do is cheer them on YEWWW! — Cheer people on. Pull others up, don’t push them down. Everyone wants to live a good life. If someone’s doing well, give them praise. Remember: Keep pushing yourself. Things that used to be hard soon become easy. — Practice, practice, practice. — Believe in yourself. — & most importantly, have FUN! Happy international day.

We took a scenic flight over Queenstown NZ, and the feeling of floating over the snow covered peaks was incredible! The pilot said he has the best job in the world. Gotta admit, that would be a pretty nice way to spend your days! Got me thinkin, we spend most of our lives working — What would be your ultimate DREAM job? 🤔
